Unconditional Love

Unconditional Love is truly an art form. When I think of unconditional love I think of my son Josh. He has this down. I can yell, spank, make him eat stuff he doesn't like, make him go to bed, make him wake up, make him shower, etc...
But I never have to make him LOVE me!
He always is there with hugs and kisses.
He never hesitates to say he loves me!

Do we truly show unconditional love?

What happens when God's timing is not our timing? Do we show him the unconditional love that HE deserves?

I hope to do a better job showing unconditional love. I believe if I do a better job at this my life, my family and most importantly, my relationship with God will be the best it can be!

Where did this energy come from?

I love the personality of Kailyn. I'm just not sure where it all comes from! Stefanie, josh and myself are all pretty laid back. We can sit, we can walk, and we can run...just not very fast.
We are not too adventurous.  All three of us go into a situation under caution.

Kailyn however, is a ball of energy, already!

She rolled over at 5 weeks old. She is trying to crawl and she is not even 3 months old yet. I swear if we held her up and let her go she would start walking today.

I really do believe she is going to do great things in her life. Both her and Joshua!  I am so excited to watch their lives grow and mold into the people they will become.
No, I don't want to see them grow up...ever.... but I know that they will be full of excitement and they will make me proud every day of their lives!

Watch out josh. Your sister is right on your tail!

      I'm Blessed!

If I ever doubt that God is blessing me, I just have to look at these kids!

      Jeremiah 17:7 NLT

“But blessed are those who trust in the LORD
and have made the LORD their hope and confidence.

      I Cherish

      Today I cherish Life.
I cherish all the little things in life, but I really love what's going on with the big things. I LOVE my family. I have a Wonderful, Loving Wife, that no matter how big of a dork I can be at times will love me unconditionally.

I also cherish my Fun-loving, sometimes whiny, always adorable, little Man, Joshua.
And my little Princess, Kailyn. She is the true meaning of Cherish.

I love seeing the two grow, and change. But I wish I could make these times stand still. It is over much too soon.

So in the moment, I will cherish everything I have, from the large things to the small.

      WOW! Two Months!

Wow. It's been over two months since I last posted a blog.
It was an awesome end of the year that included a new, beautiful princess.

I am so in love with my family!

This upcoming year my resolution is to become an even better Husband and Dad!

I can't wait to grow with my family. Growing closer in the things of God with them!

      Deuteronomy 6:5-7
5 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. 6 And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. 7 Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.

Hopefully I will post more often as well this new year... as well as maybe a Video Blog???
